Why do all of Boltons players minus three have low defence, high attack? Bolton are a hard working defensive team, I cant see how they should have only three players with high defence and the rest low

The formation and tactic is defensively sound. When defending, you get 5 maybe 6 of the Bolton players back. It's not like the formation transforms into a constant 3-5-2, which is what I think you are worried about. That only happens when attacking and is pretty easy to prevent if you want the full backs to say in their position.
