FIRST TIER CLASSES --==Hero Class==-- Myrmidon Uses: Swords Swift and agile warriors from the southlands, they fight with speed instead of strength. Myrmidons are usually lean, and move quickly on the battlefield. Their strong point lies in outmanoeuvring their opponents. --- Mercenary Uses: Swords Very balanced warriors, they are stronger than a myrmidon, but can't move as quickly. They generally wield heavier blades, and their strength lies in their versatility. --- Fighter Uses: Axes Strong, reckless warriors. They rely mainly on power, and their reckless fighting style often leaves them open to attacks. They are among the strongest warriors, but their fighting style, along with their weapons of choice, make them somewhat inaccurate. --==Rogue Class==-- Thief Uses: Swords Swift and stealthy, most thieves are more interested in treasure hunting than fighting. If they do end up fighting, they rely mainly on speed. They can use lockpicks to open doors and chests. --- Brigand Uses: Axes Strong warriors who live in the mountains. They are widely feared among the common folk. Brigands are extremely strong, but their reckless fighting style puts them at risk of counterattacks, and their accuracy suffers. Brigands are also experts at navigating mountainous terrain. --- Pirate Uses: Axes Strong, fearless warriors who sail across the seas. They are the fear of all seafarers. Pirates are the best fighters at sea, and still a force to be reckoned with on the land. Like brigands pirates are generally powerhouses who hit hard, but may have a difficult time hitting a fast opponent. --==Lord Class==-- Fencer Uses: Swords Skilled swordsmen who use a fencing style, they are expert duelists. Fencers usually wield long, thin blades, and are especially good at fighting armoured opponents, able to slip their weapons through the holes in an enemy's armour. --- Brawler Uses: Axes Brawlers are armoured axewielders; The lack the same power shown by fighters and pirates, but are much better off defensively. --- Lancer Uses: Lances Lancers are well-rounded lancewielders, usually lightly armoured, but still able to move quickly. They demonstrate a good balance between offence and defence. --==Knight Class==-- Soldier Uses: Lances Soldiers are the basic unit in every army; Very lightly armoured, they move quickly. Though they work best in formations with other soldiers, they can also fight effectively alone, using the long reach of their lances to their advantage. --- Knight Uses: Lances Heavily armoured warriors, who wield lances. Their armour is extremely strong, but it slows the wearer down significantly; Knights are the slowest moving units on the battlefield, but are very strong, and their thick armour is difficult to penetrate. --- Cavalier Uses: Lances, Swords Horsemen who wield both lances and swords. They are fast movers because of their mounts, and are able to effectively use hit-and-run tactics in battle. Though they move quickly, they usually wear little armour, making then vulnerable to attack. --==Archer Class==-- Archer Uses: Bows Bow users, who support their allies by picking off enemies from a distance. They lack power, but their strength lies in their ability to fight without fear of counterattacks. --- Nomad Uses: Bows Nomadic archers who fight from horseback. The are fast and strong, though their accuracy suffers from shooting on horseback. They are skilled with hit-and-run tactics, firing at an enemy then retreating behind their allies. --- Woodsman Uses: Bows, Axes Wariors who are expert trackers and hunters. They are excellent pathfinders, and the best wilderness fighters. They wield axes in lose combat, and bows at range. --==Mage Class==-- Mage Uses: Anima Magic users who wield anima magic in battle. Mages are the most well-rounded magic users, not lacking in either speed or power, but excelling in neither. --- Spellblade Uses: Anima, Swords Warriors who use both magic and swords. They are stronger physically than other mages, but are less resistant to magic, and slower than true swordsmen. --- Elementalist Usses: Anima Masters of the elements, Elementalists wield very powerful magic, and are the most resistant to its effects. Their only downfalls are their speed and endurance; Elementalists are generally frail, and both move and cast more slowly than other magic users. --==Holy Class==-- Monk Uses: Light Wielders of holy magic, they purge the world of all the unholy. Monks are the fastest of the magic users, but their magic lacks the power of mages or shamans. --- Cleric/Priest Uses: Staves Clerics and Priests use magic staves to aid others. Their magic can heal wounds, cure ailments, or grant beneficial effects, as well as weaken their enemies. --- Troubadour Uses: Staves Mounted priests/priestesses who travel the world, spreading their divine message. They wield magic staves to support their allies, mounted on horses for quick movement. --==Dark Class==-- Shaman Uses: Dark Practitioners of elder magic; Shamans wield very powerful spells, but suffer from slower casting than mages or monks. --- Nightblade Uses: Swords, Dark Dark warriors who wield both swords and dark magic. They are commonly employed as assassins, but can fight well in the open as well. They are fast moving, but their casting time suffers similarly to a shaman. Their magical abilities are also weaker than a shaman's. --- Hypnotist Uses: Dark Masters of manipulation, they use their magic to guide or control others to do their bidding. They are the fastest dark magic users, but less powerful; Overal hypnotists are a well-rounded class, similar to mages. --==Flying Class==-- Pegasus Knight Uses: Lance Skilled warriors who ride on Pegasi, winged horses. They are very fast and manoeuvrable, but lack strength; Their greatest advantage in combat is their speed, combined with their ability to fly. A Pegasus Knight is somewhat resistant to magi, but their mounts are vulnerable to arrows. --- Wyvern Rider Uses: Lance Powerful warriors who ride wyverns. They are much more powerful than Pegasus Knights, but their mounts move slower, making them less manoeuvrable in the air. They are also lacking in resistance to magic, and their mounts are vulnerable to arrows. --- Pegasus Skirmisher Uses: Sword Skirmishers ride pegasi who have been specially bred to fly faster, and make excellent scouts; In exchange for this speed, however, the mount isn't as strong as most, and the rider can't wear as much armour to avoid weighing it down. They are very resistant to magic, but their mounts are vulnerable to arrows. --==Dragon Class==-- Mamkute Uses: Dragonstone An ancient tribe of dragon-folk, who have the ability to transform into dragons. The mamkute normally look mostly human, except for a pair of dragon wings on their backs, and sometimes other markings. They age much slower than humans, living several times longer; A Mamkute in their fifties would appear to be in their early teens by human standards. Mamkutes use the power of the dragonstones to transform into dragons in battle; The size and strength of the dragon depends on the power imbued in the stone.
