What excuses do you have for not achieving your dreams? Is it self doubt, is it the fear of failing, or is it something else that you have allowed to stop you from pursuing your dreams and goals in life? This young man should be an inspiration for every one of us. His name is Shaquem Griffin, and he only has one hand but he didn't allow that to stop him from playing football, and he never allowed that to stop him from believing that he could make it to the NFL and play professional football. Well believing in God and himself and putting in hard work has paid off, he just got drafted into the NFL. He was just drafted by the Seattle Seahawks. He could have easily talked himself out of pursuing his dreams, but he didn't. Most people with two hands never make it to the NFL, but this young man only has one hand and he made it. Life is short, if there is something that you want to do in life, do it. If you have goals and dreams inside of you, go after them. If it's a dream that's inside of you, but you have put it on the shelf for years, knock the dust off of your dreams and go for it. This Shaquem Griffin. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Video of his draft night. This was when he was in middle school. He went to the NFL combine workout and he outperformed everybody there. He benched pressed 20 reps of 225 pounds, and he ran the fastest 40 yards dash out of the defensive players. Some of his college football highlights. His brother also plays in the NFL, and Shaquem got emotional when his brother sent him this video message. Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3Z60HLCSOg Edited by Calvin, Apr 29 2018, 08:54 PM.
