Adebayo Ogunlesi was born in Nigeria, and he's a very smart business man. He has become a billionaire through business. He recently bought the second largest airport in London. Before going into business he earned a law degree, and during that time he was a clerk for US Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. Donald Trump just appointed him to his cabinet, to be apart of his economics team.

He draining the swamp of 'outsiders' 'everyday joe's' 'his voters'..

I really don't blame him, what on earth could someone with no power, no clout, no education, do for him and his friends?

Go Donald, prove us correct in our assessment of you. We didn't like those uneducated people either!!

But wait, I guess he's not big on minorities either..

There's diversity with Trump's cabinet picks, but it's a kind of 1990s diversity. All of the crème de la crème positions are filled by white men -- Defense, Treasury, attorney general, and secretary of state (given the finalists for the position). The diversity comes in the gigs after those -- Carson at HUD, Haley as UN ambassador, Elaine Chao at Transportation. Indeed, George W. Bush's first cabinet had more diversity (Colin Powell, Rod Paige, Norm Mineta, Mel Martinez, Chao, Gale Norton, Ann Veneman) than Trump's does so far. And what's more, there isn't a single Latino on Trump's team yet.

Shouldn't Carson be on Health Human Services, considering his background is medical?? HUD is more innercity (minority, I guess... :D

While it may look nice to have a “UN” cabinet. I’m more interested in how well the people will benefit. Not just the symbolism of having a black here, a woman there, a gay over there, etc. This is not to say that their aren’t competent people other than white males. Just that in terms of priority that’s not a big issue to me.
I prefer more substance where the masses benefit, rather than a handful of mixed groups who do next to nothing other than show their not white men and collect a check.

As for Carson, I guess he was more interested in a role where he could specifically help more poor and blacks at HUD, than at HHS where his role would have been broader.

Wait. I kept hearing how great jobs were under bo.

In the 4 years when I asked many of you why hasn’t Obama done a better on job creation for blacks, I saw every excuse under the sun for his failure. Some of it included calling black folks lazy by some of you. Now of course with Trump there is expectation of job creation.

How did I know this was coming :D

I asked...why hasn’t Obama done a better on job creation for blacks,
So what. It's not our problem that you made up, nonsense, which does not really exist. Obama is half-Negro so it ain't his fault that a Caucasoid private-sector only wants to see a White President before they invest in AmeriKKKa.

Moreover, no matter how many lies you tell in here right now it still won't change the fact that from Dec 1 - Dec 30 Trump has to create 5,000 jobs per day, I repeat, per day in order to equal the amt. of jobs Obama created last month alone.

The facts and the record will not tell a, lie, just because you decided to tell a lie.

Don't change my words. I didn't say there were NO jobs. Obama didn't seek out all billionaires to join his team. If Trump wants to do this, they had better be billionaires running companies offering jobs since all we have heard the past 8 years was Obama didn't create any jobs. For the sake of the country, I hope they create millions of jobs, but I won't be kissing his ass if he does.

Jobs & Unemployment

Now that 2014 has gone on the books as the best year for employment growth in 15 years, the official figures show that the U.S. had 6,371,000 more people employed in December than it did when Obama took office in 2009. So during Obama’s first six years in office, the U.S. has added nearly five times more jobs than it did during the entire eight years under President George W. Bush. (Bush’s total was just under 1.3 million.)

Bush’s record suffered from a loss of nearly 4.4 million jobs in the last 12 months of his presidency, and we can’t say what the last two years of Obama’s tenure will bring.

The official unemployment rate has now dipped to 5.6 percent, which is 2.2 percentage points below where it was when Obama first took office. It is not only the lowest jobless rate in six years — it is slightly better than the historical average.
