In America grades 1 through 12 is free education. Our tax dollars pays the salary of the teachers. Our tax dollars pays for building the schools, and nobody complain about that. So WHY NOT add 4 more years to it, and allow our tax dollars to pay for it? That would be 4 years of college. Now isn't that much better than wasting trillions of dollars on useless wars? A lot of poor kids would love to go to college but they can't afford it, and a lot of people that took out student loans are now sinking in student loan debt. They are spending 20 and 30 years trying to pay off those student loan debts, which makes it harder for them to start a decent life, and have a family. Meanwhile a lot of colleges in America are price gouging people that try to go to college. While other countries around the world have free college for their citizens, that includes medical and law schools if people in those countries want to go for those degrees. If you go to medical school in America you can easily come out owning over 300,000 dollars in student loan, with interest. It's time to make major changes in America. America is all about greed and exploitation, colleges in America are overcharging people leaving them with mounds of debt. |

I noticed in Virginia that when a new school is built in black communities compared to white communities, the richer white folks get high schools that resemble college campuses with much nicer gyms. |

Why would anybody be against free college? The same people that will speak against free college, those same people never speak out against the cost of war. |

People are not against it. They know that it's not reality. You can't even get a free bottle of water in the U.S. |
