I have to admit that I haven't supported black owned businesses like I should have, but that's all going to change. If black people supported each other we would be totally unstoppable. |

I don't feel any obligation to buy black. George Foreman for instance, has his own line of great home grilling products, but my home grill is not a Foreman brand, because I bought what is suitable for my needs. His grills although great, don't suit my needs and it would be stupid to buy one just because Foreman is black and I am black. As the same with Marcus Samuelsson. He put out his own line of cookware that I don't have in my kitchen because I bought what suits my needs. Edited by cisslybee2012, Dec 18 2015, 05:54 PM.

Though I must say that I really do want a Foreman grill, because it appears to me to be a superior product to the one I have. But I'll have to find a way to make it fit my kitchen... Maybe I can use it without the stand by finding a different narrow island or table to set it on. Which in this case, my task will be to find a suitable stand to set the grill on. Cissly you are a black woman, if you were in business for yourself would you want black people to support your business? Or would you want blacks to just walk pass your business and not support you? |

I would want people who need my product to buy it. Period. I do not care whether who need it is black or not. |

Some people say that they are pro black, but they don't have anything in their home that came from a black owned company. |

America is a mostly white country, so you have to make an effort to seek out black owned companies and stores. |
