Why are you offended by something said to UTB?
Sorry, will not let you deflect from the topic.
The thread topic is actually weed smoking so I'm not deflecting from anything. I just asked a question.
You seem to like to ask a lot of questions, however you don't seem to be able to answer any..

Once more, delve into you psyche, ask yourself, why do I tell other blacks, they're not black?

I know the answer, however, I want you to address your issue. Look around your office, on your way home, go to a store, and count the number of people who you feel are not black, and go tell them,

"you're not really black", and then, tell them why..

All of you want to keep making this about UTB, it's typical and predictable, however, this is about you and the things you project onto others.

YOUR issues..you just don't like me pointing them out to you!

All due respect to you, aren't you one of the few on this site, doing this to UTB? Why are you, questioning his 'blackness'?

It's blacks like yourself, who send the message, unless you've lived you life like me, then you can't really be black.

Here, I posed these very same questions to Kenny, Rick, Blaxx, and now you, who are you, to determine, who's black?

-what is a black man?
-Are we talking the color of his skin
-are we talking about his mind-set
-are we talking about cultural habits, actions,
-who or what determines a black man?

Can anyone describe a black man in reality as opposed to a "real" black man in reality? And why is a black man different than any other man?

When you and others stop this nonsense, then real issues, will start to be addressed.

This reminds me of high school..A girl telling me, I don't act 'black' because I liked rock & roll music! Like I wanted to be black like her..in all her stupidity ^o)
Excuse me Redd, but you're actually going way overboard. I'm NOT doing anything to UTB. I'm merely asking questions because I am curious about his mind-set. In addition to that you're assuming an awful lot. I have said nothing to indicate how I have lived or accused anyone of not being like me not being black. So rather than to jump salty because I asked the question why not answer the question.....perhaps that would clear up some questions. I didn't say I have any ill feelings towards U I just asked why he feels the way he expresses himself. The most I ever said that would lead anyone to think that is, the thread he started about wiping out all Muslims and yes I disagreed with him and the interesting thing is you seem more upset than he does....why is that?

Now, about questioning his "blackness". Just from experience, which you haven't been there yet, He and I are the same age yet we have, most often, the opposite POV about things....that in itself points to cultural differences but it could also be gender differences. I'm not determining who is what color, after all we can't see each other, I just asked a question.

Addendum: I didn't know until just now that you had posed to same question I asked but that's really irrelevant.

I do my best to do homework, before I start accusing people. I do remember you posting this..

I said that 5 yrs ago, but few seemed convinced. He and I got into an argument about the economy and he said something that let me know he isn't black and I still believe that he isn't. I can agree with him sometimes....but he's still white.

Therefore the onus is on you, as to why, if someone disagrees with you, you then say, you must not be black? So you tell us, how do you determine, one's blackness?

I don't get why some blacks like you, like to say that to other blacks..I had girls in HS, say, you don't 'act' black, maybe you can help me understand, what they means?

How is UTB white, to you? He has different opines about religion? politics? food? hair?

If so, then he's white?? ^o)

This is the point where I refuse to talk about someone in the way you suggested when I don't really know them. My opinion is just that,......... my opinion. And that's what 99% of us do is express an opinion that's what discussions are for. Let's be realistic no one on this board or any other, actually knows who they are conversing with. But if you know enough about different cultures you can tell by the way they state certain things, certain words, certain quips signal red flags. I've seen those certain little things in some of his posts from time to time.

You don't really know if I'm black or not. I've said I am but do you know for sure. And don't forget you have few problems jumping on people when they don't agree with you too. We could go on and on all day about this but I'm through. It's not worth my time to argue about something so minute that really wasn't directed towards you in the first place.

As of right now, opinions are useless, unless everyone agrees to that opinion. :P After all this, I sure hope like hell UTB is a black guy so Redd won't be dissappointed. B-)

Opinions can be useless whether everyone agrees with it or not.

In fact,

The most useless opinions are usually the ones everyone agrees with.

Getting back to the topic...

As far as why anybody smokes weed goes,

What I always wondered is how anybody can be an alcoholic, cigarette smoker, or do hard drugs. That has baffled me my whole life. Alcohol makes me feel dead inside and sick. Cigarettes made my lungs feel like I was gassing myself to death. And harder drugs made me feel like I was destroying myself. So I've always shook my head in wonder how these substances can appeal to other people.

And cocaine?

I could never see sniffing some shit up in my nose. So I never even tried that one. :D

Never understood it.

My life will never ever be judge by 'your kind' of blacks and your opines..

I'll speak for UTB also.

Our blackness, education, working, taking care of our kids, not committing crimes, will always be scorned on by "your kind" of blacks.

Keep doing what you're doing, and when it's done to you, just say, I understand...

No one is saying, one isn't entitled to an opine, however, you and others are saying, like stating facts, he's not black.

I'm going to be more like him, who cares what 'ignorant' people think..however unlike him, I'm going to make a point to point it out, when ignorance rears it's ugly head. :D

Your response is just like the others, who say, you must not be black..

Instead of humbling yourself to say, sure, we should not be telling another black person, they're not black, because they differ from me, you get defensive and want to deflect for your behavior.

It's typical, expected, and also tolerated, you just don't know any better.
