I like the balanced approach taken by the article, and good info.
It is good information..

Small business are growing, just do some marketing to make sure your product is viable, for your area.

My nephew has an upscale barber shop (he hates that term), I told him about the young man, with his own shaving line, and that he should consider putting those products in the store.

Kind of hard to take a story seriously that mentions the Real Housewives :D
You might want to re-read the story..It's saying, it's an assumption to consider those cities..

Nevertheless, with UTB not really being a black man, you should never consider anything he posts, as you've stated. In fact, just ignore all of his anti-black posts.

I mean, what's so positive about telling other blacks where you can go start a business, if you're black?

The nerve of him..that's your job!
It was a joke. I even added the emoticon. Geez you people are in battle mode 24/7.
I'm sorry..

I'm taking off my 'battle' armour, and putting on a pair of sweat pants...

Kewl?
Or you can just lose the pants and put on a tshirt.

I have a white dress shirt I wear with a pair of torn jeans...

Will that suffice?

While i prefer option A, long as you're comfortable

The REBEL
I don't believe it.

There isn't any top ten best cities for blacks to start a business in, because a black person can start a successful business wherever they are.

He does a variety of things, all catered to men. They cut hair, dye jobs, only uses straight razors, for shaving, mani/pedi's, cut nose hairs (ughhh, but it needs to be done), etc...

It sounds like a salon, to me, however, we know, when you think of salon, you think of women.

He just added, pool tables, a bar (only on the weekends), massages (dangerous), however it's member's only. No walk in's..

It's called Q's Place...(I want to put it in the black owned section, I need to get his permission first).

Really proud of him!! Quit his job at TI, and bet on himself!

I have a great story to tell about this past father's day. Q said, all sons, who bring their fathers, they will be treated to anything the shop offers.

Well this young man, brought his father (maybe 60) and his father (80). The grandfather is looking around, and was grumpy, because he was missing church. :D

As he was waiting, he saw one of the barbers giving a man a shave. He said, boy you doing that wrong. The young man, said was kinda embarrassed. The grandfather said, let me show you.

Well the man in the chair was like, ahhhhhh, I ain't practice. The grandfather said, lend your head back, the guy's eye's got so big, he was so scared. He closed his eyes, and the old man, went to work!

My nephew hired the grandfather as the official head barber. (he doesn't give shaves, just makes sure the tools are in order and cleaned)

Every Sunday, he's at the shop, catches the bus downtown, and opens the doors.

Every Sunday!

Some of janitors & cooks at my job have talked about the donkeys, and chickens, in Mexico.

I did not believe them at first, but after repeated tales of towns without many available women......
