Black owned radio stations

Cathy Hughes started Radio One which is now the largest network of black owned radio stations in America. Radio One now owns 53 radio stations.



KPRS is the oldest black owned radio station, they have been in business for 65 years.



Stevie Wonder owns KJLJ which is one of two black owned radio stations in Los Angeles.
