Yes it would be smart for blacks to cut a deal with Ben Carson, it would benefit blacks and it would benefit Dr Carson.

Dr Ben Carson is leading in the polls, and he's beating Hillary Clinton in the swing states. Blacks are giving Dr Carson a boost, and black voters could but him in the white house.
The Democratic party takes black people for granted every year. During election time the Democrats run to the black community and give speeches, this is done to trick black people into voting for them, but when they get into office they totally ignore black people.
The Democrats are silent about the police killing unarmed blacks, the Democrats are not making any efforts to pass laws to stop it. Does that sound like a political party that should get the majority of the black vote?
Since blacks are giving Dr Ben Carson a boost, and blacks could put him in the white house. This is the PERFECT TIME for millions of blacks to cut a deal with Dr Carson.
Blacks should meet with Dr Carson and say these are the things that we want in return for giving you our vote.
We need black leaders that are (politically neutral) to negotiate this deal. Dr Boyce Watkins and Dr Cynthia McKinney are the two people that I recommend, because they are not loyal to any political party. They are very fair they speak out against both political parties when they are wrong.
In politics smart people know how to get what they want from both political parties, it's not that difficult to do. You just got to know how to leverage your political power.
Blindly giving our vote to the Democratic party has been a complete disaster. Voting for Barack Obama without demanding anything in return was a disaster. Now it's time for us to get smart and start doing things differently.
Dr Ben Carson is the grandson of slaves, he grew up poor in the ghettos of Detroit, so he can relate to us better than anybody. His experience is our experience.
Jewish people make politicians sign a pledge on what they promise to do for them. That is an approach that we can also take.
Now is the perfect time for blacks to cut a deal with Dr Ben Carson. Election season is the perfect time to cut deals.
We know that he's a brother that puts GOD first, and he's not ashame to let the world know it. It great seeing people thinking outside the political box but here's the problem with this suggestion. The white conservative establishment will not honor any agreement made between Carson and the so call "Black leaders".
If Carson presidency is reliant on the far right-wing portion of the conservative GOP party then he will be beholden to thier political will.
And their agenda is far different than our....by a mile or two.

Carson isn't getting in. I'm afraid obama has probably messed up any chance of us getting a black president again. Hillary will win this one

Can't Help It should blacks not cut deals with anybody, should blacks just freely give their votes away to one political party and not demand anything in return? Is that the INTELLIGENT approach to politics? Here we go with that selfish attitude again. America is not just black people. Laws/Acts are passed with the premise that all Americans will benefit from it. Obviously it doesn't always turn out that way but......... Now, instead of "cutting a deal" tell us what your laundry list would look like so we can talk about that. Cut a deal....with a Presidential hopeful....give me a break. The saddest thing about that brain fart is you seem to think it would happen IF he should become Pres. WOW!

Curious as to what are these bullet points aswell what type of deal would you make that doesn't affect other races in an unfair way. Because to fix an unfairness by being unfair doesn't help

Blacks can't cut a deal with Ben Carson. He's not going to be running anything, even if he does win.

Ether, I'm not sure what you're asking. Can you clarify please. I want to know exactly what blacks would want from Ben carson. Specific details of a deal. "We vote for you if do (insert deal)"
And this deal has to be one that won't strike controversy, make it unfair for the other anyone else and give a clear advantage for blacks. As we are then fixing a problem by making another

As we are then fixing a problem by making another I thought that's what you were saying. You're right. I laughed at the thought of "cutting a deal" with Carson, almost certain he won't get the nomination anyway. But, I would love to se that list also.
