We have seen Halle butcher both Storm, and Catwoman.

Storm is the premiere black superheroine. Angela Bassett should have gotten that role.

Wonder Woman is the premiere superheroine.

I already have misgiving about skinny Gal Gadot.

We should be getting this.

Instead, we will have to settle for this.

My fingers are crossed.

At 5'3", Kim Kardashian is way too short to play an Amazon Princess.

In the comics, Wonder Woman is also the Greek Goddess of War.
Right.

Wonder Woman is the strongest superheroine and she's stonger than most of the men, except Superman, I think. She's definitely stronger than The Hulk, Hercules, Batman, Aquaman, etc.

That's why I think they should have a woman who looks the part. I don't care if her strength is supposed to be magical, I would still prefer to see someone who's both sexy and buff.

Halle Berry wasn't a bad storm. Angela basset would of been a great storm
For such an important character, Storm was treated rather insignificantly in the films.

Basically all the X Men played second fiddle to Wolverine in those movies. They even screwed up the Phoenix saga putting him front and center
Bro...
That's exactly where they fucked up at. To the point where they started killing key xmen off. Wolverine was always the one who saved the day. Fantasia four and avengers did a better job at actually making a group the main character
This has been one of the problems for the X-Men in the comics.

One of the reasons why he was killed off was he was becoming the end-all-be-all to the franchise.

Let the other characters breathe. As I mentioned before, the X-Men, as a team, has the best cast of heroines in comics. X-Men should draw a large female audience. It is not even about gender, they are great characters.

The Phoenix Saga is the best X-Men story of all time. It is still my favorite X-Men story. I agree with Kenny. It was total insanity how Fox messed up the live action adaptation.

The FF & Avengers do tend to share the wealth more. On the Avengers' side, their main characters (Cap, Iron Man, & Thor) have solo books. As a result the non-solo characters got plenty character development, and many became fan-favorites. For non-comic fans, the reason those three have solo films is to reflect them having solo adventures away from the team.

On a funny note, Batman ends up being the main-event in most Justice League stories. I will be curious to see if Ben will do the same in the upcoming Justice League movies.

Sadly enough I think the justice League movie is going to be terrible.

Other than batman. Their casting for their heros are garbage. Marvel does a better job. They don't do enough DC movies to give their universe more exposure. So people are mostly marvel fans.

I'd love to see a marvel vs DC movie though. Oh man that would be awesome. And I'm real excited about the gambit movie coming out. He is my favorite in the marvel world. Maybe we will even get introduced to jubilee

I'm still on the fence about old Ben Affleck playing the most popular character in comics.

I am not yet convinced Jared Leto will be a great Joker.

I don't like how Superman has been presented, so far.

I am optimistic about Jason Mamoa playing Aquaman. I applaud the left-field casting, in this case.

I am not sure about the casting for Flash.

Warner Brothers are still playing coy about Green Lantern (and which GL to use).

I hope Gambit is made in the same way as Deadpool appears to be.

Hey Doctor,

How do you think, Paula Patton or Zoe Saldana, would fare as WW?

This role would be hard to cast..She would need to be tall, at least, and brown! :D

However, in the past, with some directors the hue didn't matter, however they must appeal to the audience buying the tickets.

I actually felt that Zoe was miscast as Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy. In the comics, Gamora is the most dangerous woman in the universe. Gamora is tall & imposing woman in the comics. Zoe is on the slim side.

I'm not sure either would be right for the role.

This might be left field, but I think Tasha Smith may be good. She is an ageless beauty, and can carry intensity. Plus, she reminds me of a former rogue.

On a side note, I'd love to see Lisa Leslie play Big Barda. Lisa is 6'5", and Barda is 7" tall.

Barda is fighting side-by-side with WW.

I think Serena would be awesome as WW, too.

Serena certainly has the warrior intensity, in addition to her beauty.

I have to say, I really enjoy this thread.

Having similar discussions on comic boards can get crazy.

Serena? No I don't think that would work? I don't think she could act that role

I agree, she fits the profile, however not sure about the acting part.

I guess that's the dilemma, finding someone who can act, also fit the part.

Zoe would have to add some muscle, I think.
