I met this woman that I really like a lot, but she has a dog (a big dog) that lives in her home and I'm not fond of dogs. What should I do? What should a person do when they have to decide between a mate and a dog?
Find another woman and move on. That was pretty simple.

I don't understand folks getting so attached to their pets, I really don't. I've had two wonderful dogs and a few wonderful cats, but I can't say I loved them. I really, really, liked them, and one cat, I still miss. But he was just a cat. A super cool cat, true, (maybe the coolest cat ever) but just a cat. People spend BILLIONS of $$ on pets!

By the way her dog is a pitbull.
Lots of women think of their dogs as their kid. If you don't like the woman's kid (dog), get the hell away from her as soon as you can! You will only cause hurt, heart ache and pain for you both.
I know I wouldn't part with my pet over a man. A dog is likely more loyal!

Become friends with that pooch then when you break up you get visitation rights to the dog on weekends & every other holiday!
No shit it happened to someone I know. It's no pooch it's a damn pitbull.

Just tell the woman you don't like the dog. Simple. I'm ok with some dogs but not Pitbulls, that have a bad track record. They have been known to snap and kill people.

If a man had a pitbull living in his home, some women would be uncomfortable dating him.
