Over time, you do learn that a hug, a stare, a smile, will diffuse most situations. I now know, my hubby's movements. When he's agitated, bored, itchy.. I've learned how to respond to his 'actions' and either support, or let him know, rethink that idea! |

Yup. Then you can do your magic. I don't even know if my husband realizes he calms right down if I lay my hand on his. I call it "[my name] magic." It's really just the power of the human touch.
