Some black male entertainers and athletes have been speaking out against the police killing of unarmed black people, some of them have been in marches and protest.

But black female entertainers have been very silent about this, Janelle Monáe is the FIRST black female entertainer to get out in the streets and protest against this. When a black entertainer take a stand for black people, we should always praise their effort.

She lead a march against police brutality in front of the police precinct in Times Square.

She also lead this police brutality march in Philadelphia yesterday.

She shouldn't be the only black female entertainer protesting against the police killing of blacks, when we are now seeing the police killing black women.
