Rap music started out in the late 70's and the early 80's. During that time none of the rappers disrespected women in their songs. Kool Moe Dee, Dougie Fresh, Kurtis Blow, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B and Rakim, Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, Xclan, Heavy D and the Boyz, De La Soul etc. NONE of those rappers disrepected women in their songs, A lot of them called black women QUEENS in their songs. Today a lot of the rappers are very disrespectful to women, they call them bitches, and ho's and talk about doing violence to women. Rap started out clean and fun like this, Heavy D.
