Exotic to the extent it's different is of course relative.
I have/had friends who are mexican and italian and wanted me to hook 'em up with a black woman. For them a black woman would be exotic where respective latina and italian women generally aren't.
Almost dated an Asian a while back. She was Asian American. Born and raised here so she was Americanized. Her parents were not and didn't approve of that at all.
