Morals are in the gutter in America, and now studies are saying that marriage is in decline in America. When you have a country that lacks morals, naturally you are going to have a decline in marriage.

cut out that nonsense, little buddy. Marriage is a great thing!! Especially if you are a loving person. Just because you constantly do, poor, at marriage does not mean it will remain that way always. So quit being so pessimistic, and get out/find someone to fly solo with and make happy for the rest of her life.

I agree, Kenny. I prefer to stay in my little villa and he in his house. And at my and his age if things go sour nobody is misplaced. Works for me!

If I had not decided to have children, I probably wouldn't be that interested in marriage. I'm a free-spirit! πŸš΅πŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ‡πŸ½πŸ‚πŸ„πŸ½πŸš£πŸ½

I do, however, think there are numerous benefits to being in a committed relationship, including marriage.

I'll take marriage over single life anytime of the year. Companionship is what makes us vibrate in our old age.

Yes I know companionship is possible without marriage but than there's no commitment.

I'll take marriage, because I'm OK with commitment.

B, what if the lady wanted to commit but didn't want marriage? Would that be a deal-breaker for you?
