We could learn a thing or 2 from the other creatures we share this space with.

Very interesting.....the most unlikely (snake& hampster) sharing spaces. Yes we humans could learn if we would slow down long enough to see how things really work!

True...

But the problem is that most humans don't want to know how things really work. They don't recognize truth in plain view no matter how obvious that truth is, and everything they learn has to jibe with their preconceived ideas; so if they hear anything that doesn't resonate with their preconceived ideas they automatically reject it, and they pretend that their relations with the opposite sex is blissful and harmonious when all it's ever been anything but. :D

Which is why we have religious allegories. :D

Which is a way of speaking truth to people they would automatically reject, in deceptive fairy-tale terms they would accept.

Yes. That I believe is a path. Moments of reflection, contemplation, and improvement.

True. It however does provide a rare glimpse of the possibilities these creatures have uncovered.

... wishful thinking... humans taking a break from harsh human reality

psst....

those 10 animals DON`T EAT THE-SAME STUFF

,,,, no competition for same resources .... so peace

ps:

digging into above hypothesis further ... i suspect the unlikely pair is not the first choice dish in their easily available regular ``menu " in the zoo or wherever

smh!
