Now I know some would say that it doesn't matter but it does if you think about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he didn't do it. And I'm not saying they deserve what happened to them. But the question that arises all the time is 'Why did they wait so long?' Did you guys ever think that they were initially there to engage in potential intercourse? Maybe he did put something in their drink? But it's not like he was out forcing and beating them. Was he drugging them and leaving them naked in a hotel room? We should hear the entire encounter. We focus too much on just the drink consumed. But what led up to all these women? What was the purpose of the private hotel visit? What happened afterwards? Did finally one woman speak up and when the other women heard about it they sat back and thought 'Hey now that I think about it, I drank some wine too' And others will think 'Hey, this is a quick opportunity for me, I did spend time with Bill that one time. And we had sex' We focus so much on the drink. And it magnifies the situation and leaves out some room for sabatoge and dishonesty. I think instead of putting Cosby on the chopping block so fast. Both agreed to meet, both had the intention of having sex, why the drugs? If both agreed to have sex, both are having fun, why the drugs so the woman, is somewhat unconscious and unable to enjoy herself? Was he into something, they would oppose? Some 'dirty, kinky act' he felt, if got out, would hurt his 'image'? The fact, that these women didn't speak earlier, shows embarrassment to some point. As with most rape victims, they blame themselves, for not seeing the signs, usually afterwards. I do think, if at least one or two had said something, Cosby's pattern would have been exposed, and then, other women are on notice to his behavior. It's like, Rock Hudson. For years, rumors said he was gay, no real proof, but the signs and antics, spoke volumes.. Sometimes, where there smoke...

There are women who goto parties and get drugged and taken to a room and raped by a stranger. Women who didn't goto the party with a small intent of or intent at all of potentially engaging in sexual intercourse. And we are treating this like those situations. I don't goto hotel rooms with an opposite sex friend at late night to play a board game or watch some tv. You ask why the drugs. Sure. And maybe the drugs were used in some cases but maybe they weren't used at all. Maybe they were used once not all the times were are out trying to make it out to be. The use of drugs is bad, I agree. It isn't necessary if you are consenting. But ask yourself this too. Why wine? Is wine necessary to have sex?

The only woman who got paid was the one who took him to court. Are you saying that women accusing now can't get money if they chose to pursue it? Don't think they can goto court now...But court isn't the only way to get money. I mean it isn't hard at all to start an organization or Kickstart some organization funded by donations to take advantage of this situation. Are you saying these women don't have the opportunity to write a book? Someone in the media surely will give them the attention and spotlight.
