It's interesting and doubly humorous that you have this perspective of Dame Dash, yet this is the mentality wielded by Asians, so-called Jews, and every other group that is hustling to get theirs in this world.

The story of how Damon Dash launched Jay-Z's career and Roc-A-Fella Records then blew through a reported $50 million fortune is a sad and shocking cautionary tale.

Between 2004 and 2009 Damon launched and shuttered a string of failed ventures. His new record company, Roc La Familia, folded, as did clothing line The Damon Dash Collection. Dash's wife divorced him and he was sued for $15 million over an alleged rape. Shockingly, by April 2009, Damon Dash, who at his peak had an estimated personal net worth of $50 million, was flat broke.

In his divorce proceedings, Dash revealed to a judge that he actually owed $2 million in back taxes and was in the midst of foreclosure on two New York city apartments. He was also being sued by several NYC law firms and various other creditors for lack of payment. His Chevy Tahoe had been repossessed after he could not keep up with the $700 monthly payments. Dash was forced to vacate his $9 million Tribeca New York home which was later sold in foreclosure for $5.5 million.

That's your hero? :D :D :D
..article gave a decent summary

last line in article i found most interesting,,,,,,``So what's the lesson here? How could Damon Dash avoided this downfall and do you think he can make a comeback?"

.....no he could not avoid his downfall yesterday, nor can avoid it today or tomorrow

..... come back ? most likely with a little bit of luck as in been in right place at right time..... but will still fail though

ps:
..what makes us strong can also be our weakest point
he is independent, will never listen to any advise, overtly optimist that he will always succeed ..all marks of a good sole entrepreneur.... sounds like a megalomaniac ?
yep u gotta be one to dare believe u gotta succeed despite all odds stacked against u

but ...
so nothing can intrude in your revere or brain when u are dead wrong about things too ....then u just fail and fall every time

..... jay-z might not be a great entrepreneur { ! tidal wave} but he knows his limitation, listens and gets the necessary help when needed.... success!!

funny thing in life... bet Damon sadly looks @ and wish he was born with jay-z limitations but able to squeeze all the juice from dat ounce of talent ,,,, while jay-z will look @ damon enviously and shake his head and say `awesome talent ! can u imagine what i can do with all dat!!"

... life ain`t easy ... we are what we are .....,success is just another story and part of who we really are

What dummy thinks he can go up against J and Def Jam. That's mistake #1. Starting a record label takes money so that was probably a big chunk of his money there.

Mistake #2 Who the fuck wants to wear the Damon Dash collection? I never even heard of this clown until recently. Yeah Roca wear buyers are going to all of a sudden switch to the Damon Dash collection.

Mistake #3 You're not Jay Z, stop trying to be him. He could have taken all of that money he earned and worked his own plan instead of trying to emulate J
Then there's this dumb shit

Fittingly, Dash lived a very opulent life that reportedly included butlers, private chefs, bodyguards, a mansion in Beverly Hills, a Tribeca loft, a $35,000 per month London apartment and a $400,000 Maybach. Dash was also famous for only wearing his shoes, socks, jeans and shirts once, before tossing them away.

and this dumb shit

Jay had increasingly grown tired of Damon's ever growing ego and paranoia. The employees at Roc-A-Fella, Def Jam and Rocawear were terrified of Damon's never ending temper tantrums over the smallest of issues. He fired dozens of talented executives and burned bridges left and right.

There's a lot of shit he could have done to avoid his downfall and taking advice from a broke mofo just isn't a good idea in my opinion

Court records show Dash lost a slew of lawsuits filed by landlords, fashion designer Charlotte Ronson and a celebrity bodyguard firm.

And pass-the-buck Dash claimed one business, dubbed “Fresh to Death,” was submarined by a “poor business decision made by my partners.” It was unclear what the business, named for a trademark Dash quote, actually did.

In addition to his foreclosed homes, his leased SUV was seized in 2008 after he missed his $714.99 monthly payment.

According to his court filing, Dash faces possible criminal prosecution for non-payment of taxes in New Jersey. Documents indicate Dash also owes more than $2 million in taxes to New York state, and he conceded owing federal income taxes.

Yet a September 2011 article portrayed Dash as still living large, describing his Carmel home as equipped with a full music studio, a pool, hardwood floors and a spectacular view
Got anything current? Like, regarding any post-2013, ventures or net operating income or current financial developments? That morning show interview was just a few weeks ago, so;

holla at me if you got anything to show that Dame can't possibly be telling the truth about what's happening now...as in, today...as in 2015. Because if he's not broke in 2015, then all of the hating on him about last year and the year before, is meaningless.

impregnates fat 400 lb. chics, and while also never EVER having Dame Dash type of finances to spend.

Therefore yes, you got some kinda nerve to sit here and namecall a Black man---- who hath transcended any and everything which your sorryAZZ hath ever tried to venture into with your sorryAZZ life.

You just listed a bunch of Dame's old $$$ figures, and although you've never had that much money ever in your life...you got nerve to sit here and disparage him.

..no
.....not advise...

i like to think i took away some understanding of the whys....

damon and jay-z are quite 2 different kind of people

Damon is a dreamer, entrepreneur....
jay-z is a pragmatic businessman

.... i wasn`t considering the wealth outcome.... just looking around and thinking about life outcomes

my angle is in real life ..Hewlett and Packard is a rare event like a comet
most of the time partnership are like:
Wozniak and Steve job @ apple
paul allen and bill gates @ Microsoft
Eduardo Saverin and Mark Zuckerberg @ Facebook

..that one person ended with the whole loot shouldn`t be enough reason to humiliate the other guy with less to nothing

..nothing to do with their intelligence or astuteness but more to do with their DNA that made them great in the first place.... they were dreamer

.... dream they gonna dream until they die... will they make use of their `dream-opportunities" ... likely NO....

they dream and dream of new things...dats their nature

ps:
i know

His court documents he made his claims on was on my birthday of 2013.....

The same claims where he admitted his domicile struggle. Unless he won the lottery recently.....

You stupid bytch. Do you ever post using facts? Do you ever post using the truth? Do you ever post using common sense? You sure didn't do it re: Ray Rice settlement and you refuse to do it here as well.

Dame Dash started that Roc-A-Fella Records waaaaay back in 1995, but hey, feel free to keep thinking that was the crux of his money-----even though he went on to make multi-millions over the next 14 years to the point where Roc-A-Fella broke up and (JayZ + Jews) cheated him out of his share of Rocawear. Fortunately, Rocawear ain't worth a fucc today. Just like you aren't.

And that is exactly how it should be.

This was in late 2013...
Almost 2 years ago. What could ge have done in a years time to recover from this?

Roc-a-fella Records co-founder Damon Dash trashed and abandoned his upstate mansion, leaving behind bongs and dirty laundry — but also jewelry and artwork, new court documents claim.

The hip-hop mogul — who once said he was worth $50 million — owes $162,000 in back rent on the upstate Carmel pad, which boasts a music studio and pool.

The landlord’s lawyer, Thomas Mullaney, told The Post that Dash “held the house hostage” for a year in a half while he dodged rental payments of $15,000 a month before he left it all behind.

Bruh, let me know when you get some current day stats.

I'm sorry, but I simply can't dwell on what a man did 2 years ago---who constantly makes things happen. We don't do it re: Donald Trump and other Caucasoid big spenders who file bankruptcy and lose big dollars. So, I'm going to do the unpopular thing here and give Dame Dash the same treatment we all make sure to extend to them.

So again, give me a holler when you find something which proves that Dame Dash current, I repeat, his current situation is nothing like he explained in a recent radio interview.
