Yes. Attachment is inevitable and essential to a baby. But in later years, a child becomes more concerned with their source, which is their birth mother.
I agree

The Midland County Sheriff's Office had received a call that two children allegedly had been left alone by Robertson. After arriving at a residence off Farm-to-Market 715 at about 4:30 a.m. April 2, deputies placed the children in custody of a guardian and contacted Child Protective Services, according to the arrest affidavit.

Deputies discovered similar circumstances involving Robertson had occurred twice before, according to the affidavit. Robertson had left two children at home alone late at night saying she'd return in 15 to 20 minutes, but had not returned until the early hours of the morning, according to the affidavit. In one instance, deputies discovered she could "hardly walk" when she returned, according to the affidavit.

Kenny,

You can't change the dynamics of life just because there's women who can't feel their maternal energies and are bad and downright negligent mothers. A faulty vehicle doesn't change the fact that it is still a vehicle. And so it follows that a bad or indifferent mother doesn't change the fact that she is the source of her offspring, nor does it change a human being's concern with their source.

Speaking of that protective instinct, I watched a horror movie yesterday that had that sense as the key to overcome the "monster" that stalked the family.

The 6-yr old child in the movie said to his mother, "I promise to protect you", and the mother said back to her very young son, "I promise to protect you." They both kept their word, facing evil in its literal sense as it attempted to break them.

It's my new favorite movie because of their relentless grit - the child was my favorite (rambunctious the way I like them), and the mom stood up so strongly for her son - it was beautiful. The Babadook.

Kenny,

You can't change the dynamics of life...
Unless of course, its time to lie on Muslim men and how Q'uran teaches them to treat their women, eh?

A book shouldn't be your social teacher.

Your mother should be that teacher.

I posted a news story. Sorry the reality doesn't jive with the your book passages

The stoning took place in the middle of the day, outside a courthouse, beside a busy thoroughfare. The woman and her husband had been “in love,” her husband said, and they’d gone to a courthouse to sign the paperwork. Outside, the woman’s father, brothers and extended family waited. When the couple emerged, the family reportedly tried to snatch her, then murdered her.

“I killed my daughter as she had insulted all of our family by marrying a man without our consent, and I have no regret over it,” her father told police, adding that it had been an “honor killing.”

Some Islamic fundamentalists think that only through the murder of an offending family member can honor be restored to the rest of the family. Honor killings predominantly affect women — 943 women were killed under such circumstances in 2011 and another 869 in 2013, though not all of them were stoned. Some were just gunned down in cold blood.

Most honor killings are not classified as such, are rarely prosecuted, or when prosecuted in the Muslim world, result in relatively light sentences.

Honor killings, or a better description would be "honor murders" are a phenomenon largely confined to the Muslim world but not a single Islamic country is free of the custom. Honor murders have their root in a vulgar and ancient Arabic expression, "A man's honor lies between the legs of a woman." Muslim women who have had sexual relations outside of marriage, including rape, or to have raised suspicions regarding their conduct, i.e.- be only suspected of having had illicit relations with a man outside of marriage are often killed to regain the family "honor"http://www.allaboutmuhammad.com/honor-killings.html

You posted a news story, whereas I had the wherewithal to murk that nonsense when I posted Q'uran scripture---- and I'm an Evangelist!

Because I know the Q'uran is what instructs Muslims on how to live, and not that clownly newpaper article you posted.

Now use critical thinking, next time, you come snapping at my heels with your chihuahua skillz. Quit attributing the works of evil people, to a religion which warned you to beware of evil people.

Then muslims are living foul as fuck. Because as the articles say, killing women is a common practice among muslims
