When I was a little boy my parents gave me a spanking. My parents gave me a spanking because they loved me and they wanted to keep me out of trouble. When you love someone you don't just sit back and allow them to self destruct. Bill Cosby criticized us out of LOVE, he wants us to be a better and stronger people. He could have chosen not to say anything, and allowed us to self destruct. 1. Today 70% of black kids are born to unwed parents, Bill Cosby said that we need to change that. 2. Bill Cosby said that our high school drop out rate is too high, and we need to change that. 3. Bill Cosby said that we need to become better parents, and not use anykind of language around our children. 4. Bill Cosby said that we have to teach our children to use proper grammar, because you can't get a job using slang talk. He said that you can't be a doctor or pilot talking like that. 5. Bill Cosby said that as a parent how can you have a teenage child, and not know that he has a pistol in the home? 6. Bill Cosby said that we have to clean up our neighborhoods, and take them back from the criminals. 7. Bill Cosby said that there use to be a time, when the whole neighborhood looked out for each others children, and if you were doing something wrong they would tell your parents. He said that we don't have those days anymore. 8. Bill Cosby said that as black people we need to stop killing each other. How can any person that love black people get offended and upset about him saying that? Keep in mind there are some black people on this earth they don't want to change, they don't want to clean up. Bill Cosby has given 70 million dollars to black colleges. Anybody that has given 70 million dollars to help black people, has a right to criticize us. Nawww Bill criticized us for the same reason Black rappers and celebs are staying silent on Ferguson & Eric Garner; Don't wanna tip over their gravy train which White America sends on the railway. Anytime a man can go from marching with Dr. King & Jesse & Malcolm...to...downtalking the very same subjugated Blackfolk who they all died fighting for; There's clearly a hidden nefarious agenda |

No, it shouldn't be the standard. But a society can't rape an entire sect of the populous, create their Hopelessness, then not expect that sect to become a burden on society. It defies the laws of physics. Once a GOVT and it's social structure/society combine to decide to single out one (1) sole lone group to deny Equal Access To Prosperity, then it has to be ready to accept what social consequences come along with that. |

Many moons ago, White America asked itself "do I really want these niggz standing next to me @ work on the assy line or with an office next to mines or with a locker next to mines @ the plant" ...versus... "Would I rather use my White power to exclude him alienate him---then use my tax monies to extend him a welfare check & food stamps" ...I think we know which option America chose... |

A football coach is hard on his players not because he hate his players, that coach is hard on his players because he's trying to bring out the best in his player. That's what Bill Cosby is doing he's trying to bring out the best in us. |

I didn't see anything wrong with what Bill Cosby said, because he said what needed to be said. If you have a problem with what he said, then you might need to check yourself. You have to keep in mind that Bill Cosby remembered a time when we had strong black families. He remembered a time when the youth didn't disrespect the elders. He remembered a time when we had very high morals. Now he's disappointed at how far we have fallen as a people. Edited by Nat Turner, Dec 22 2014, 04:39 AM.
