Peace,

I can never be an accomplice to racism, and I don't embrace being a victim...

As an example, it's like a Brother who has three kids. He just lost his job for whatever reason. His three children at home are starving. Can he realistically look into their eyes and tell them that the reason they're starving is because of "white supremacy/racism"? No, a man will not make those types of excuses nor let such events set the agenda for him. He's going to do what's necessary to feed his kids/tribe.

Once again, I don't know if you did it purposely but...you failed to address the real USA problem with any reasonable rational response my friend. That's why DocEmoDweeb came coSigning you, bcuz he hates Black people so he loves it when any one here puts forth arguments which disregard realities and ignore forces which are factually acting upon The Black American Experience.

See, here's a real life example...similar to your own analogy which you presented;

I lost my job due to racism, once, and I went home/look into my kids eyes and told them that the reason we're going to have to economize for a few weeks is because of "white supremacy/racism". Then I broke it down to them how this same future treatment is waiting for them, if they get darker. Yes, I did in fact do that.

And after putting them in the bed, I woke up the next morning and went found me a new job. Got hired 2 days after applying. But when I got hired, I told the Senior Partner that I couldn't start right away.

It was on a Monday.

So I started that Thursday, because I needed those 3 days to go perfect my racial-discrimination complaint down at the local EEOC office, via the job I had just got fired from. Well, that perfected complaint wound up winning me a "finding" of racial-discrimination, and all deserving compensation thereof. No Black person who I know of, views that situation as one which features me making excuses. It was a situation where I fight against racism while still working hard to feed my family. It's called Multi-tasking.

Now, I know you're not going to respond with a tangible nor viable reply, because your real life experiences don't delve this deep into reality in order to speak to that example. And it's no fault of yours, of course, but please do just read/embellish my experience -----as yet another ounce of proof of "that America" which you have to start accounting for, if you expect your gameplan to ever be productive for aiding USA Black males.

You may need to utilize leg exercises if you are spending long hours sitting down while typing.

ever heard about the scorpion and frog story ?..... ``its my nature"

let me refresh your memory

The Scorpion and the Frog
One day, a scorpion looked around at the mountain where he lived and decided that he wanted a change. So he set out on a journey through the forests and hills. He climbed over rocks and under vines and kept going until he reached a river.

The river was wide and swift, and the scorpion stopped to reconsider the situation. He couldn't see any way across. So he ran upriver and then checked downriver, all the while thinking that he might have to turn back.

Suddenly, he saw a frog sitting in the rushes by the bank of the stream on the other side of the river. He decided to ask the frog for help getting across the stream.

"Hellooo Mr. Frog!" called the scorpion across the water, "Would you be so kind as to give me a ride on your back across the river?"

"Well now, Mr. Scorpion! How do I know that if I try to help you, you wont try to kill me?" asked the frog hesitantly.

"Because," the scorpion replied, "If I try to kill you, then I would die too, for you see I cannot swim!"

Now this seemed to make sense to the frog. But he asked. "What about when I get close to the bank? You could still try to kill me and get back to the shore!"

"This is true," agreed the scorpion, "But then I wouldn't be able to get to the other side of the river!"

"Alright then...how do I know you wont just wait till we get to the other side and THEN kill me?" said the frog.

"Ahh...," crooned the scorpion, "Because you see, once you've taken me to the other side of this river, I will be so grateful for your help, that it would hardly be fair to reward you with death, now would it?!"

So the frog agreed to take the scorpion across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The scorpion crawled onto the frog's back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog's soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the scorpion would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current.

Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog's back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs.

"You fool!" croaked the frog, "Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?"

The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog's back.

"I could not help myself. It is my nature."

Then they both sank into the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.
Self destruction - "Its my Nature", said the Scorpion...
Wise counsel, indeed.

From your post, "some women burn you out and turn you off completely from dating". Dude, that's not only tragic, cynical and sorry for a man to post something sentiment like that, but that shows cats aren't prepared for life, because life is about ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies, mistakes and missteps.

You can blame someone for knocking you down, but you can only blame yourself if you refuse to get back up. Stop embracing victimhood.

This is worth repeating.

True, but those with strength of character will find ways to not just survive, but thrive in a sea full of sharks.

Also, some people are comfortable never entering the ring of life.

The fear of defeat can be overwhelming for them.

That is their choice.

It is funny how they want to make excuses for their own unwillingness to be more.

Some help this dark nigga, please???

Akachi's example, and Blaxx's response..

Quote:

A brother has three kids. He just lost his job.

Insert racism. He got fired, because the company hates dark black men.
Quote:

His three children at home are starving.

Well, hungry, not starving. It’s hard as hell to starve in America, unless it's intentional..
Quote:

No, why?

A man will not make those types of excuses nor let such events set the agenda for him. He's going to do what's necessary to feed his kids/tribe. Also, at some point he has to realize that if one job is not producing enough ‘funds’ to feed, clothe, and shelter his offspring, then he MUST enact other endeavors. (legal, that is)
Take on another job, cut out any/all habits, re-check finances, incorporate a budget, etc..(a single person can live paycheck to paycheck, a responsible parent will, and should have a safety net in place)

But look at what the dark boy, places on his children’s mind and spirit..
Quote:

the reason we're going to have to economize for a few weeks is because of "white supremacy/racism".

Why is it now 'us' having to economize? They're children, with a child's mind. How in the hell, is it now part of their responsibility to alter what they do, because you can manage your finances, and sired one to many mouths? They didn’t ask to be born, into a world of racism. Why are you, the adult, sharing the burden of your irresponsibility, with them?
Quote:

Then I broke it down to them how this same future treatment is waiting for them, if they get darker. Yes, I did in fact do that.

A multi-generation of ignorance. You don’t seek efforts to make their future better, to teach and offer them different solutions, no you just pass the same ignorance onto them, and blame others for their bleak outcome.

found me a new job. Got hired 2 days after applying. But when I got hired, I told them couldn't start right away.

Sorry POS. Your kids are starving, and you delay working??
Why?

Enough, enough…The desire to sue, outweighed the empty bellies of your kids..

That is the thing......in order to succeed.....you need disciple....resiliency....and a plan.

Not everyone will strike it big by going head first into the unknown.

A little strategy goes a long way, in addition to back-up plans.

People think fatalistic because they want to.

Some purposefully close their eyes to any alternatives when even the slightest bit of adversity is present.

If something seems like a lot of work, many won't try.

They learn to do without, but they should not hide behind excuses for doing so.

The person simply did not want it bad enough.
