How about talk about the elephant in the room. Blacks in the US have purchasing power estimated to be around 1$ trillion. Granted, other races and cultures listen to rap music too. But what are the possibilities if blacks alone stopped supporting these types of artists? No album sales, no ringtone sales, no mixtape sales, no play on urban radio, no writeups in urban publications... Think they and others could survive without any black support. Highly doubtful...
