Excellent post Shirley. Many of us on the liberal left have been saying this for years. This was nicely put together. This however sums up how meaningful this will be for many black obamabots: Despite these facts, a recent Pew survey found that the number of Blacks who think they are better off now than they were five years earlier almost doubled since 2007. |

And no one bothers to explain why it actually happened. Of course income is going to fall during a time when jobs "disappear". And there were more blacks that suffered because their job disappeared. During the same time the housing bubble busted and a lot of blacks were caught up in those sub-prime loan scams put in place by Wall street and the Realtors. My favorite expression for that was the used car/house lot Sorry Snideazz, it still doesn't compute for me. You and others want to blame the Pres. when those wheels were already in motion before he even thought about running for Pres. Otherwise Bush wouldn't have set up those funds to gain equilibrium with Fannie/Freddie. The economy was already tanked with 2 wars un-funded and you forgot about that also. No, we're not that much better off, but, we are not as bad off as we could be considering all that has happened. But it's OK to deny and point fingers and load yourself up with media propaganda/jargon. BTW I'm not an Obamabot I'm just real.....I don't take pride in accusing him of anything like some do, but I do blame Congress for a lot of things, even before he got to the WH. I haven't always agreed with everything he has done, but I can't think of any other Pres. I did agree with all the time. I definitely thought Bush should have been impeached. Which tells me your view of politics is somewhat skewed, or you believe what you want depending on the "color" of the subject. Edited by Can't Help It, Nov 1 2015, 07:45 PM.

If the Republicans win the WH, all those anti-Obama folks will be silently wishing his azz was back in Washington. |
