This is the honorable Elijah Muhammad view on black entertainers, this statement was given in 1972. This statement is from his book called the Theology of Time. You noticed all of your life, you can get a good laugh out of white people as long as you act a fool. And as long as you will jump up on the stage dance and sing evil and filthy songs. And you pull off half your clothes up there and show the filth of yourselves, you are alright with them. That’s all they want the so-called Negro for is to show the world that he, the white man, made a fool out of one of your members and why you don’t want him. So, as long as your own people and my people of the good and of the good world refuses you, then he can laugh and say, ” Oh I beat your God. I’ve taken him away from you, though he’s one of you. But I’ve robbed your God of him and he follows and obey me. ![]()
