Yepper. Since Moon Pie posted it, but you disparaged Plus 1 for it as if she posted it. Your post won't lie, for you, no matter how much you try to get it to do that. So stop badgering her-----in that exact way you did Caroline Jell Pastries & LadyBug, when you read them posting cordial to me. Every one sees it, every one is sick of it...except the cliq, of course |

Halloween is almost here; does anyone have a favorite treat recipe to share? It's unfortunate I associate Halloween with candy. It's a gluttonous holiday. Even (caramel) apples are covered in sugary sweet goo. |

Dinner tonight is a sandwich made from: Grilled marinated chicken breast Grilled onion & bell pepper Swiss cheese Sliced avocado Sliced tomato Hoagie bun This is a deliciously sinful combination of flavors and textures. |

In a sandwich mood tonight I see. That marinated breast sounds delectable. What kind of sauce? |

Great question! My sisters used mayonnaise but I'm not a fan of the flavor so I sort of mashed the avocado onto my bun and rubbed it around before putting my breast on it. It tasted really good! :-) |

Snidely, I just realized you might have meant what sauce did I marinade my breasts in? In that case, it's a homemade Italian dressing. :-) |

In reference to the homemade Italian dressing: it's not a recipe per se; but rather a guide. Guide: 3 parts oil of choice 1 part vinegar of choice Salt & pepper to taste Other seasonings to taste For my chicken breast marinade I- 3/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1 garlic clove, minced 1/8 cup minced shallot 1/4 cup chopped parsley I mixed it up and poured it over my chicken breasts, let it soak in the fridge all day before I grilled them that evening for dinner. It's a great tangy flavored salad dressing, too. Hope you enjoy! :-) |
