Healthy cooking is the way to go. Mother Santiago recently got a clean bill of health. Her blood pressure is as low as ever. A large part of that is getting away from fried foods. Let's keep the healthy food train in motion. |

NYC was full of flavors and although I asked for several recipes, only a limited number of people shared. Here is one: Aioli, a French garlic mayonnaise to eat with fresh vegetables, boiled eggs, or seafood. 1 roasted garlic clove (or more to taste); minced 2 pinches salt or to taste 2 raw egg yolks 1 Tablespoon lemon juice 1 cup olive oil or oil of choice Grind the garlic & salt into a paste with a pestle in a mortar. Using an electric mixer, mix together garlic paste, yolks, and lemon juice until completely combined. Slowly add vegetable oil to the mixture mixing it all the while with the electric mixer. It's important to do this step slowly for it to mix well and not separate later. Add more seasoning if desired; extra salt, garlic, pepper, mustard, herbs, etc... Enjoy! |

everything sounds delish..but i must tell you plus1 corned beef and cabbage by itself is the bomb...especially if you tenderize it properly... mixing them together in a casserole is a no no...each has its own distinct flavor that must be savored to appreciated...my mother makes the best corned beef...yum |

Did you make them spicy, or use a teriyaki sauce? Or season them with something different? Chicken wings are a favorite at my sister's house during the Super Bowl. |

:-) I believe people either really enjoy this dish or they don't. My tastes have changed over the course of time. I'm learning to try new dishes and I appreciate the simplistic flavors of organic fruits and vegetables. Homemade bread is a lovely taste, with melted butter gooey all over it. Learning to cook is one if the best decisions I've ever made! I now know what Oleo is. :-) I found an old cook book at a used book store and the recipes are written, odd. I had to look some instructions us; I had no idea what they meant! :-) |

Plus 1, I have a questions for your cooking instructor - Does he or she know anything about "meat glue" ? (Transglutaminase) I just watched a documentary on it. |
