You guys are making those sprouts less nutritional.

True, true indeed.

Although I only read one person here posting unhealthy Brussel Sprouts prep. So on a healthy note... since this is one of the sole most nutritious foods, it makes little sense to cook away all of it's health benefits.

So if you cook by steaming them, it prevents that.
I see.


I don't steam them.

Just eat them raw.

I agree. (Which is why I left out the bacon and butter from the original recipe.)

Usually, I bake them......and add Parmesan cheese at the end.

Raw? Whoo! Out of my comfort zone.

I might try it just for that reason. :)

Yea they take a lot to chew raw. But I cut in half. Drizzle with olive oil and add pine nuts and parmesan.
