This past Sunday, I cooked my iconic honey BBQ baked chicken.

I prepared it my normal way.

I marinate chicken legs & thighs with 2 cups each of lemon juice & OJ. I let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

I use the following seasoning: black pepper, garlic salt, Lawry's season salt, and the new addition of ground cinnamon.

Once in the pans, I sprinkle dried parsley onto the chicken, following a light application of honey from a squeeze bottle.

Then, I apply the BBQ sauce. I normally let the chicken sit in the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour.

After that, I flip the chicken over, and apply BBQ sauce on the other side. The honey on one side is enough.

After another hour, I am done.

Since I eat baked chicken so often, I enjoy the different flavors with each bite. The cinnamon stood out in a great way.

While baking, the cinnamon & BBQ provided a flagrance to the kitchen that was quite wonderful.

I had a really interesting Wheatberry Salad the other day.

I shall post the recipe later.

But it was made with oranges, clementines and grapefruit. I added lime juice for extra flavor.

Wheatberries are interesting.

I signed up for Blue Apron. They basically ship different recipes and all the ingredients for it to your house.

Pretty cool.

I slipped into old habits this evening. I made a can of Campbell's Tomato Bisque and grilled cheese for dinner. It was easy, and well, I'm tired. :-)

Enjoy!
