oh sure they sample. but that has never been more than 5% of rap songs when it was popular and its likely 2-3% of rap songs now. Consider something about the creation of a rap song pal, when you begin to form opinions about sampling---with respect to the minds of those who actually create the music you here in a rap song; sampling has never at no time been a popular, commercial practice, in the actual creation of rap songs my friend. if you don't believe me, go check the top10 rappers of today ($$$) and look at which hot producers they all use. you'll be amazed that those hottest producers today, do not sample. Kanye and will.i.am made it famous, and they don't even do it in their recent works. I think will.i.am might have one recent one tho. so you see, the thing is, you hath discounted again where the rapper's power ends and his Jewish Record Label/employer's power, kicks in. A rapper turns in his album, according to his contractual obligation. At that point, then our great Caucasian Jewish Bros. in suits, listen to the album. Then they decide which tracks are going to be sent out, now, and which will be further edited mixed mastered. By which the ones that they choose, and not the ones the rapper choose...are the tracks which will be most featured and immediately sent out to be played most often, on Clear Channel Communications M-tv B.E.T. Interactive One CBS Radio and other affiliates in charge of making the general public comatose through musical scientology which hath been successful for many decades now. Thanks to the proven chemical, I repeat, chemical effect which music has on the the human mind for centuries now. ...anyhue... where the brilliant Jewish White guy in a suit, sat, listening and understanding that the sample beat will be more mesmerizing ((in terms of listeners recalling a happier times from decades back, when beat first launched)) creates a scenario you cannot blame the rapper for, Snide. For he is powerless at the time which a decision is made to pound that sampled beat rap song, into America's ears and then use the song to catapult the rapper/Producer into Pop Icon status... I'm actually surprised that your vast musical knowledge, doesn't take more into account, the reality of the music business and what artists are going through at any given time within it in terms of disputes and dishonor within their Record Labels. Some the greatest disco songs, in history, were recorded/released during turbulent Times between the artists and the Labels who feed us that great music. be sure to drop by my new thread on sampling too |
