Most people would probably be surprised to know that R&B music sells more records than Rap music, way more. R&B music sells almost twice as much as rap music. From the The Nielsen Company & Billboard’s 2012 Music Industry Report R&B music sold 49.7 million records. Rap music sold 24. 2 million records. Nielsen and Billboard report. http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20130104005149/en/Nielsen-Company-Billboard%E2%80%99s-2012-Music-Industry-Report#.UyUDRs6W6uM

That's great news, R&B music is cleaner than rap and it sell more records. So rappers need to stop lying by saying that music have to be negative in order to sell. |

Rap can't even be considered real music, nobody in rap sing or play any instruments so how can it be considered music? People in Blues sing and play instruments. People in Country music sing and play instruments People in Jazz sing and play instruments. People in Rock sing and play instruments. People in Pop music sing. People in R&B sing But nobody in Rap sing or play any instruments so how can it be considered music? If you go to a rap concert they might not even have a band on stage, you might see a group of people just walking back and forth across the stage with a mic. You can enjoy R&B music without hearing cussing in songs. You can enough R&B music without hearing somebody being called bitch. You can enjoy R&B music without hearing somebody being called nigger. You can enjoy R&B music without hearing somebody glorify the selling of drugs. You can enjoy R&B music without hearing songs where somebody is talking about shooting somebody else.
