So democrats with a congressional majority put through a Republican plan instead of a liberal one? ooooook Sparky :D
Exactly. They complained for years as Obama did in the clip that to get single payer, medicare for all, they needed the white house, house, and senate. Well they had it in 2009 and 2010. In fact if they kept their word, they'd still have the house.

Snidely, an honest non rhetorical question here,

Which is better? To fix Obama Care or repeal it?

And why?
Repeal, easily.

1 - No one should be mandated in a so-called free nation to buy anything from the private sector. Period!

2 - These dems don't even know what they passed. As Pelosi said, you have to pass the bill to find out what's in it! What the fuck is that!

3 - The cost is out of control. Obamacare had little to no cost containment.

4 - It has the net effect of reducing the standard of living. In the link below, a union that supported Obama and obamacare said it would reduce the salaries of their members up $5/hr. We are talking low wage workers here.
http://washingtonexaminer.com/union-obamacare-will-slash-wages-by-up-to-5-an-hour/article/2545310

“Believe me; I enter this entire debate about the consequences of the ACA with a deep reluctance,” he wrote. “Unite Here was the first union to endorse then-Senator Obama. We support the addition of health care to millions of Americans. Yet facts are facts, and Obamacare will cost our members the equivalent of a significant pay cut to keep their hard-won benefits.”

5 - By repealing it, at worse we'll be back to where we were which is still better than obamacare.
The one true benefit of obamacare, keeping kids on a parent's ins till 26 is something the ins companies can do easily. They metioned it when there was some uncertainty which way the court would go.
I'm sure when they looked at risk for insuring the young, it was minimal compared to older people and they groomed a future customer. From a business standpoint it's like vegas hotels giving you free drinks in their casinos. The gambler will spend far more than the cost of the alcohol.

6 - And perhaps most importantly, we should NOT leave a legacy of less freedom to the next generation. Isn't it ironic that a so-called black president reduces freedoms via threats from the IRS to buy something from the private sector. This is fundamentally wrong!
Soon, I will give you a proper response. :-)
I await with bated breath B-)
This isn't the response due to you, but a quick question!

How would you recreate a healthcare system that would really benefit everyone? I realize it's not an easy task. Any thoughts to share?

I promise, a proper response is forthcoming. I'm thinking about what you wrote. :-)
It's simple. Medicare for all. Everyone would be covered under medicare. The cost should only be a small increase in income taxes since everyone would be in it. It would be a lot cheaper than the premiums.
Your healthcare won't be a function of employment. No mandates with an IRS looking over your taxes. Choose whatever healthcare provider that accepts medicare. Etc.

The dems know this. Obamam knows this. Instead, he and his cabal fucked us.

Here's the lying son of a bitch busted in one of his many lies.

Snidely, you do have a point. But I will not go as far as to say that Obama is the only one at fault.

The republicans know that the U.S. needs a healthcare system that works. So if this is a republican plan, why do you believe they abandoned their own idea?
Well, they abandon it publically. The establishment repubs are playing games with their constituents too. They complain about how bad obamacare is but wont truly get rid of it. They like it as it supports corporate interests, something the repubs have always been about.
By the way, the tea party genuinely want to get rid of obamacare. Remember the shutdown. The establishment type repubs hate the tea partiers more than dems. Every so often you'll see and hear the McCain type repubs go after the tea party repubs.

I said a few years back when this thing was in the supreme court that the repubs judges in the court have to deal with a conundrum. They like corporate stuff, obamacare. They also ideologically oppose government meddling in corporate affairs which to their base, obamacare is.
That is why Romney was a problem. He did romneycare and the conservative base didn't come out and vote.
