When did the United States become a Corporate Socialist country?

The United States is not a capitalist country, it is a corporate socialist country. All big business in the United States is funded by the government, either by giving them money directly or not having them pay their fair share in taxes. They also get favorable use of any thing they deem beneficial to them making a profit. The few capitalist businesses are small businesses who can't get loans or favorable tax breaks and they fail due to a toxic environment. We are in the matrix. Our lives are for the benefit of the corporate masters who run the country.

Political parties don't seem to matter much any more. Both do the bidding of the corporation.

The tea party was funded by a billionaire so he could pay lower taxes. There need to be a different movement to get the country back. There should not be any money in politics. All special interests groups should be banned. No politician should serve more than two terms. There are a list of things that need to change that would put the country back on track and stabilize the middle class.

Obama should have bailed out the common man instead of the banks. The banks got richer for their mistakes, but homeowners who lost their homes got blamed for making bad choices.

I'm indifferent to most of your points. I think "corporations" is too vague, I'd say more of the financial sector is in cahoots with the government and that's been obvious to any politically-conscious person since Clinton. they've gotten so bold that they don't even hide it anymore. Outside of that I have few qualms with corporations. They provide millions of jobs; they provide services or products that we depend on and some that improve the quality of life; and they pay a higher corporate tax than those in other industrialized countries ( 35%).

No, large corporation pays a 35% tax. After all of their write offs most end up not paying anything or less than 9% tax. Small businesses are the ones who pay the 35% rate.

You complain about a lot of stuff you inadvertently support.

It's the same with rich individuals. Wealthy people have the means to avoid taxes. Wealthy people can spend money to avoid taxes. That's one of many reasons why lowering the tax rates increase tax revenues.

The wealthy already pay less than 9% in taxes. How much lower can it get? If they paid their fair share then there would be less pressure on the middle class and small businesses. I do agree that the 35% rate should be lowered for small businesses since they are the only businesses that pay it.

What you're describing is fascism. It's been growing for some time and has now been firmly entrenched under obama and the dems. From QE's handing over billions to allow the party we now see on Wall Street to mandating every American must pay companies for health insurance. We are at the mercy of a fascist state.
