Good job Marcus.
Do you get your insurance through your job?
Yes.
Do you believe that there are people who are under-insured and don't know it?
Yes. More accurately though, I know there are americans with inadequate healthcare.
Hence, the reason why people were dropped from their insurance plans because their plans were inadequate. The Affordable Care Act has a requirement when it comes to people getting quality care.
I heard someone say this, the insurance coverage on a Rolls Royce is not the same as insurance on a Honda.
I am not comparing people to cars, but some insurance companies were screwing the hell out of people who had to buy medical care on their own.

That may or may not be true. Regardless, it would be up to those individuals to determine the level of insurance that they believe best suits them. Most of us wouldn't mind having an aston martin but for many a hyundai is more than adequate.

Enough with the dictating.

WellPoint, UnitedHealth Group, Humana, and Aetna contributed $8.7 million to state-level campaigns in 42 states from 2005 through 2008. Two of the titans, WellPoint and UnitedHealth Group, gave substantially to state office-holders, political parties, and ballot measure committees in 40 states between 2005 and 2008. WellPoint gave $4.3 million and United gave $2.2 million. The other companies, Humana and Aetna, contributed much less; Humana gave $1.1 million and Aetna gave $950,717. Of the total contributed, office-holders commanded $4.5 million. Party committees, several of which appeared in the list of top recipients, brought in $3.3 million. The four companies favored Republicans. California recipients brought home 30 percent ($2.6 million) of the total given by the four companies.

Check out this site and it will give you more info of insurance companys favor republican party for contribution to their party.

That's any insurance though. Take for example auto insurance....a lot of people think their full course is just that, fully covered. When they find out after an accident they aren't.

I bet a lot of people are over paying on insurance period.

Insurance companies are to blame. Why doesn't the government crack down that?
