not sure If I put video in right but it is a very inspirational video, and I believe when the Black population at large stop seeing them selves as victims and press in to greatness, we will see changes. I have been discriminated against by non-Blacks, but I understood that I could not allow that to become embedded in my mind because If I did I would filter every experience through that experience. I am not blind to racism, but It won't define me. non-Blacks expect me to roll my neck, become belligerent and undignified during altercations, and pop off 7 pair of earrings and nails and eager to fight, "I don't have that for them". When I am met with racism, or controversy I simply remain graceful and dignified. I understand that I must do more to be taken seriously, is it fair no, but its reality, my reality. And because its not fair, I refuse to take on a victim mentality, I just aspire to become greater!!
