At the Pebble Peach Concours this month, one of the most renowned auction houses, RM Auctions made headlines with the sale of the most expensive American car ever sold. This vintage car in the spotlight is an extremely rare 1968 Ford GT40 hat is also the very same model, which was used in the iconic 1971 racing movie, Le Mans, starring Sir Steve McQueen  at the auction event, the Ford GT40 enticed bidders to great lengths, thereby taking the closing bid to a whopping $11 million. This expensive vintage sports car carries the ‘Gulf/Mirage Team’ and is painted in a dazzling sky powder color with orange stripes. For the Le Mans movie, Mr. McQueen is said to have purchased the 1968 Ford GT40 and then holed the roof, thereby making room for the camera, while placing another camera on the spare tire. Soon after the filming of Le Mans, the Ford GT40 was purchased by Harley E. Cluxton III of Glenview, Illinois and was put through its paces at the Glenview Naval Air Station.

Consumerism has many of you acting foolish.
Too many people make an unwitting choice to be poor and there's nothing anyone can do for them.

A great majority of our problems are self-inflicted and that's why we love to focus on racism - it's an escape mechanism to help us forget about the many problems we can control.

I see what you are saying to an extent. People indeed are taking the focus off of things they can control.

But dont negate racism.

Its not dead, its not gone and its still affecting us.

I hope you were not. ;)

Absolutely true.

Many of our problems have everything to do with the choices we make and nothing to do with racism.

Wow at all of these insane prices tags for some of these stuff. Kanye sales 120 t-shirts hmmmmm i'd be more curious about the "alleged" sex tape of him having a 3 sum with Nia Long and Tracee Elis Ross.
