How many 19 year olds can say they know 3 languages???
Probably not as many who can't speak their nation's native language in a educated fashion. - Ether

And as long as she puts her effort in it and learns English without the slang ...
She's 19. When is she going to make this effort? Maybe her family can't afford a speech therapist for her.
I seriously doubt there is nothing wrong with her mind.

She has a speech impediment. Kids with that usually get stuck in special ed classes.
It isn't fair, because speech impediments have nothing to do with learning abilities.
I know guys who are damn near mutes, and are computer programmers, electricians, mechanics for the city, and etc.
You're going to have issues with careers like sales, journalism, and etc. However, a speech impediment doesn't hinder learning. I can't disagree with anything you said.
Does she have a texting impediment too?

You have to squeeze your thought into 140 characters, i think, spaces included.
Several people abbreviate, use short cuts, skip punctuation.
I can't believe the way people are downing this girl. It doesn't matter if you're born and raised in the US. If you grew up around people who speak imperfect English, then you will speak it also. Does anyone even know that? Does her family speak perfect English. Cut her a little slack. It looks like she may be getting some help.

Cursive writing isn't being taught like it use to be. Primary school students are required to type out their assignments.

Is any important subject in American Public Education is taught like it used to be?

im' curious if GLADD and Anderson Cooper will respond to Jeantel's admission that she was warning TM about being possibly stalked by a gay rapist.
Isn't that profiling?

Called young culture.....are you that disconnected? Her word choice on twitter is irrelevant, but I was using that to call BS on any speech impediment being responsible for the words she chose while on the witness stand.
