Don't understand the mind-set here they have been doing it for how long" and supposedly nobody knew. Now all of a sudden it's shocking to think that it's happening. The company you work for spies on your e-mails, records some of your phone calls and you don't know which ones. And if you're not doing anything "wrong" what's to be concerned about?
Funny how the supposed constitutional scholars has so many minions who know very about their rights. Then again he doesn't support them anyway so I guess it apropos.
What rights........Each reg in every section has so damn many addendum's to it you wouldn't recognize the original if you saw it. It's OK Snide-azz to dislike the Pres. but be real about the issues. This and other covert operations have been going on for as long as I have been an adult.
The only difference in the methods is the sophistication of technology.Do you really believe all of those damn Satellites were launched for cable TV and telephones only? Now 40 yrs later we're blaming a black man for snooping on our privacy get off it.
No, and people like me have been vocal against 'em. Heck, so was your guy. It's his own words that indict him again with hypocrisy.

Speaking of:

Senator Obama ‘Debates’ President Obama on Gov’t Surveillance, Civil Liberties

In what he called a “Hannity exclusive” on Tuesday night, Sean Hannity brought Senator Barack Obama on to his TV show to “debate” President Barack Obama on the issue of surveillance and civil liberties.

To be sure, the contrast between Obama’s past positions and the ones his administration has taken during his time in the White House is stark.

Watch the video below (The “debate” begins at around the 1:30 mark):

That's the case with so many things with this guy loadyb. I guarantee his automatic excuse makers agreed with him back then.
Ya know, it's just whatever barack says. If he does a 180 they'll mindlessly go along and deflect criticism blaming everything under the sun except the guy destroying lives at 1600 pennsylvania.

During the first election, co-workers were saying that he was going to be different and there would be no status quo, like Hillary Clinton.

Now, that he's in office doing the usual stuff that he campaigned against, it's "That's just politics." I always say, "No, he said, and you repeated, that there would be no more politics as usual."

Everything was/is supposed to be on C-SPAN.
I'll admit to being stupid for cutting the guy slack and voting for him the first time. This despite my misgivings. I wasn't about to be a complete idiot and repeat that mistake in 2012.
As far as I'm concerned bo showed what he was all about his first term. The people voted in a larger proportion for more of this crap so this what they get.

Congress is making sure it IS business as usual. Why is it that anything he ha s tried to get them to work on.....jobs is my number 1 thing, they shut it down and start creating bills about the honey bee.
Yeah...I couldn't help but notice he's really busting his balls on his jobs bill, whatever that is, in between golfing, planning his african safari, fundraising...
