I hope they hang him for treason.
Treason?? What about the NSA breaking the law? If Snowden dropped this information during a Republican administration, you would be praising that dude. STFU you stupid ho.
You STFU you stupid idiot... Hang Snowden by his fucking balls. That bitch ass runs and hides out among all places China. TREASON!! TREASON. NSA did not break any laws you moron. It is legal. Also Congress was fully aware of this. The only thing that Snowden did was tell the world about somehting that wasn't spoken about. Most Americans probably suspected that this was happening anyway. And if your dumb ass is talking about the Patriot Act that was signed into law by George Bush, I had no problems with that. I'm not worried about hiding anything. And supposedly when it comes to the American people, the NSA only looks at numbers to numbers and not into the context of what is being said. Now if you are sending e-mails to Afghanistan or making phone calls to Yemen, then your ass is probably being watched.
China? Last I heard he was in Japan. Supposedly, today, they don't know where he is. I'm not ok with ALL my shit being monitored. I may go back to snail mail and paper-check writing. Honey when you sign on to this forum, you are being watched. And just like I asked Snidley, who the hell are you to think the the NSA is looking into your emails?

BTW, WTF do you expect out of a high school drop out with some tech skills.
He's White, so he figured he would land another high paying job.
Next time, give a brother with at least a high school diploma a shot. He might actually appreciate his job.

If they want access to my info, decide to investigate me for a crime and then go get a court order after voicing their concerns to a judge - not before.

Email, cell and smatrphones have taking surveillance up to new heights. What do you expect in a tech world? If you don't want any surveillance directed at you, don't give the NSA reasons to snoop.
And if you are a black person from the black community, then like Michael Eric Dyson said, you probably have been under surveillance. Martin Luther King could have told all of you that.

Exactly the issue. The law has not kept pace (they say) with the technology. So, we must adjust the law accordingly.
Rather than allow our government to run amuck over our right to privacy, we need to stand up and say "No".
Just like Slavery was overturned, so must this broad surveillance be put in its place. Surveillance needs to be a tool, not a culture.

We gotta do something a little stronger. You know how I feel about petitions truthie. People can sign but to put teeth behind our disgust, don't support any of these politicians in any form. This includes the congressional black caucus who support this.
No money to them. Change your voter registration, etc. I'm just saying there's only 2 things these oligarchs will respond to. Money and the vote. Unless they see action there, they figure they can still play the good cop/bad cop game come election time.
Hahahahah! Forget it. The majority of Americans say that they prefer Security or Privacy. Stop being so dramatic. Who the hell are you that would want to make the US government spy on you? Most Americans would not be the subject of the snoopers from the NSA anyway. I don't even know where to begin or for that matter end with you, you little Obama brownshirt.
I gather you are referencing that pew poll. What's driving most of that is a lot of dems like you who are circling the wagons to defend Obama. The same people who like Obama several years prior were opposed to even less spying by bush. And if nothing changes when the next repub president gets in, y'all will be complaining it's wrong.
Regardless, it's not an issue of popularity. It violates our constitution. We are all under surveillance. That said, Obama and the rest of the politicians shit on the constitution so it may not mean a thing. Keep that in mind when the repubs get in because I'm sure your name will stand out as a brownshirt for bo.
As for being dramatic, well tell that to the ACLU and several others who now have a class action lawsuit against all this because of it's unconstitutionality. At this rate, I wouldn't be shocked if conservative groups joined in.
