Interesting.

I can agree, that you being helpful to others can make you more valuable and a wonderful human being.

But this is also implying that if you arent of value to someone else, you arent of value. You cant let someone else determine your worth.

And that is just not true.

I feel that we were created and then pushed out of the womb, solely to make each other happy. Yep. No human was put on Earth to go be, alone, somewhere bringing no joy to no Mankind. So if a human isn't enriching lives, then that human is worthless---by choice! So no, I don't let people determine my wealth, I just make sure I show appreciation for them treating me like I'm valuable to their livelihood.

I agree that the statement is not accurate. But I do feel there's a lot to be said about people who put others before themselves, when it comes to doing good deeds.
