I already clarified that, had you read.
You have a smart mouth. I was asking you to expound on your thought. And?

I'm no one. I clearly said, it's their choice. Why is the "American system in humane" as you call it?
I already clarified that, had you read. Any salary less than sufficient to live on is inhumane.
How much does one need to live on? Who makes that decision? You? Or the individual choosing a job that they decided meets their needs?
What world do you live in where people decide their own wage? They decide their wage when they choose to say yes.
If I apply for a job that pays $10 an hour and I get that job, I chose my wage.
I could've just as easily selected a job that pays $9.00.
The individual makes the choice when they accept the position.

That's double minded rhetoric.

I guess in your world, when you accept a position, they don't tell you how much you'll be paid prior to your considering the job? What a silly question, and completely unrelated to this discussion. Why not talk about how you have decided that some don't deserve a livable wage?

That was a question, why do you believe that some don't deserve a livable wage?

That was a question, why do you believe that some don't deserve a livable wage? I never said that.
Since you don't understand my example, I think our attempt to converse regarding this is moot.

If there are two jobs available. Job A pays $50k. Job B pays $60k.
They both pay a different wage.
I, by my choice of job, have chosen my wage. If I want $60, I'll take job B. If $50k is ok with me for some reason, maybe it's closer to home, I've chosen my wage of $50k. Get it?
I have the power by choosing to take the job or not.
If they didn't take a job paying $6, the employer would have to pay more. Simple. But people are fine with that wage because its usually a student who may live with their parents, or a senior citizen who's retired and needs a small income.
