Do black people still see Minister Farrakhan as a leader? In a new poll by Bob Johnson of BET 40% of blacks say there are no black leaders. 24% of blacks said that Al Sharpton is main black leader. 11% of blacks said that Jesse Jackson is the main black leader. Minister Farrakhan wasn't even on the list, so outside of the Nation of Islam members, do black America still see Minister Farrakhan as a leader at this point? http://nationalactionnetwork.net/press/nan-president-and-founder-rev-al-sharpton-scores-highest-in-opinion-poll-as-person-that-most-often-speaks-for-black-americans/ |

Farrakkan is partly responsible (by his own admission mind you) for Malcolm X's death. So I never had any respect for him. |

The Nation of Islam has a lot of talented young people, it's time for them to be allowed to come to the front and shine. |

Whether you like him or not, the answer is REV AL. Farradont doesn't do nothing but talk. No action. Edited by Rick1, Apr 2 2013, 09:33 AM.

Barack Obama and Michelle!!! They are an example of how to play the game and win. No everyone can't be President and first lady, but there are lots of ways on how to succeed and the Obamas are an example. Farrakhan just talk shit about whatever HE thinks is wrong with Black America. He talks shit about what HIS solutions are for black America and those solutions are never put into action. Well maybe only once... The "Million Man March" should have been a great start, but where was the follow up? Farrakhan is not a leader, he is an opportunist just like Jesse Jackson. They do not have the guts to put their life on the line for a real cause like Martin Luther King jr did. Edited by Whozthatgurl, Apr 2 2013, 09:53 AM.

I wouldn't go to a million man march today. There would probably be a million guns there too. |
