Glad to see the recognition of The Meters here. I mentioned them a few months back as some of them did the session work on Labelle's Nightbirds album. That album is known for the "timeless" song Lady Marmalade as well as my favorite off that album, What Can I Do For You.
If you've listened to this particular work as much as I have, you appreciate how well they complimented the singing style of Labelle.
Snide, you'd make a great DJ
agreed..

Oh yea, ok Disco was the Genesis of DJ'ing? Hell, I learn something new on here daily.

Well, disco popularized the modern dj style with all the mixies and cuts which morphed into samples, popular today. However djing sarted before it, and of course in the radio business many decades before.

Thanks. Is it because of the background stuff or song selections?
Ah hell you asking me to dissect my compliment? Hahaha!
I like your tastes in music Snide. How you treat my fair and balanced peach of a sister, is another topic.
I know, some folks just don't know when to just accept a compliment Just curious though, thanks.
As for your sis, it's tough love which she knows she needs
