Watching "Ray" again, this is an excellent movie and I see now why I liked it the first time.
Not just the superb acting delivered by Jaime, Regina King was excellent. She wore the period well.
I also noticed for the first time Taylor Hackford produced and directed this movie. He did one of my other favorites some 20 years prior, Against All Odds. This movie is just quality through and through.
All the acting was good! B-)

Here are a couple more I'll toss in the "Best" group. Carmen Jones, and A Rage In Harlem.
