Coffy and Foxy Brown.

What I like about those movies besides Pam's marvelous performance, is that they teach a lot about how political corruption works.
Yeah, I liked seein Pam's big tits. And that was at a drive-in BITD.
Pam Grier circa 1974.......untouchable. Sexxxy beyond belief. No current actress could compete. The total package.
Bootyheads always miss the point of the movie. :D
Whatever. I wrote that Pam was the total package, untouchable and that no current actress could compete.

All you read was my statement that she was Sexxxy beyond belief. Don't be nearsighted.

And speaking of Jim Brown :D did y'all like Slaughter?
jim brown was macho but too damn serious everytime

now fred williamson...was the man .... u know always the playa with dat pimp smile and small thin cigar dangling ..
damn dat dude seems to always be having fun

coool breeze style
Yeah but you'd love the scene where he beds down Stella Stevens, full frontal nudity and all. Today's equivalent would be Wesley Snipes layin' pipe to Charlize Theron. Of course that wouldn't happen today.

In addition to the sex, Jim didn't punk in front of a white man. They knew not to fuck with him!

What I got out the her two flicks was the education on how political corruption works, and the power one woman had to bring down a syndicate all by herself.

Pam's movies taught me that feminism can defeat oppressive systems and create justice for all. The feminist movement (prior 1980) created opportunity for more than just women.

That one slipped by me.
Slaughter and 100 Rifles are the two I remeber the most from that period.

Watching "Ray" again, this is an excellent movie and I see now why I liked it the first time.
Not just the superb acting delivered by Jaime, Regina King was excellent. She wore the period well.
I also noticed for the first time Taylor Hackford produced and directed this movie. He did one of my other favorites some 20 years prior, Against All Odds. This movie is just quality through and through.
