I understand. The Mack is a great movie to you. Any movie of a man pimping women is great to you.

The REBEL

I saw it once and didn't like it. So I don't want it in my collection. The family was a strain on Claudine because she taught her children nothing to make them independent and raise their awareness. It's the reason that raising children is a strain on every parent. You're not supposed to do nothing and wait for children to grow old enough to control themselves. The mother is supposed to teach her children independence and self control when they're babies. And then her older son beat up Roop for leaving his mother which was ridiculous because he didn't owe her shit. They weren't married, and he wasn't their father. He cared about Claudine, but he found it difficult to assimilate into her circumstances, which is understandable. Now she already had six kids running amok in the house when she met Roop, and already she was ready to leap in bed in Roop which could have led to a 7th child. She had no kind of awareness or sense of leadership. She was childish in the mind herself. And Roop found that hard to deal with because for him to be with her meant for all of that weight landing on him as his responsibility to organize, which also was ridiculous because it wasn't his situation but hers. Roop had a drinking problem so he had his own strains to deal with. Edited by cisslybee2012, Feb 1 2013, 01:26 AM.
