Bronner Brothers hair company started out of the back of a station wagon and today it's a 20 million dollars a year black owned business. The is a great black black success story in America. They wasn't looking to the government to help them, they wasn't looking to the government to take care of them. Through faith, hard work and determination they made it.

That's a great story their father built a successful business and he didn't sell it, he left it for his sons to run and now they are successful business people. Black people can learn a lot from that, it's all about building something and then passing it on to your children. |

That's smart because that's what Jewish people do. When they start a company and build it up they pass it own to the children and grand children. A lot of white people do the same also. |

The Ku Klux Klan came against their grandfather because they were jealous of his success. They didn't want to see a black man successful in business so they burned down his house. |

I was in the health food store today and to my surprise one of the Bronner Brothers was in the store. I went over to him and we talked for a while, he was very down to earth. I told him that I saw their family story in the news about how their father started their company. I told him that I was very inspired by their story. After seeing their story on this board and then the next day seeing one of them in the store, was pretty cool. |

In the heat of racism their father started that company out of the back of a station wagon in 1947, so black people today have no excuse for failure. |
