Republicans are always referring to the fact that Obama is the food stamps President but Charts of food stamp usage show that while a few Democrat led states have high food stamp usage; food stamp usage is highest consistently across Republican states. In many Republican states food stamp usage is as much as 1/5th of the population. What does this say about the success of Republicans policies in helping the poor and middle class improve their lives? |

Why are people that vote Democrat the poorest in the country? Blacks have the highest poverty rate and the highest unemployment rate in America, and most black voters vote Democrat. |

Where have you been Brad-Kenneth has not been using you as much as he does Black Republican or Marcus. Stick to facts more white people are on welfare and food stamps. The group that uses the most food stamps and welfare are white single mothers with one or more children. The poorest race who also suffers from the most suicides and alcohol related deaths are native American Indians. Republican Mississippi has the highest poverty rate in the country, at 22.6 percent of residents, compared with the national rate of 15.9 percent. The poorest states in the country are almost entirely found in the South mostly red states. |
