I'l just bet, you couldn't pay a Negro to move to Idaho,Wyoming, or Montana! My cousin has lived in Cheyenne Wyoming for over 35 years, I also own property about 50 miles above Billing Montana! I've never experienced any problems. Negroes tend to move where other Negroes live, and that's the major problem. |

If I were about to relocate, what I would do is a research to determine the condition the country is in by region. And the criterion I would research is economy, housing cost and availability, crime rates, and racism rates. Because as far as moving where other blacks live goes, I'm not a person who would move anywhere I'm the only black person unless I have some kind of idea of how safe it will be for me to do so. In other words, I would not move to a place where there's profound racial tension. Where people see a black person and start name calling and throwing shit or whatever. In other words, I'm not a candidate for moving into any kind of war zone or yokey doke entrapment. So I'm leery of any cheap real estate deals. It's most often a red flag of trouble. I wonder if UTB actually knows any black people. The biggest reversal in black movement in the US is black people moving from the NORTH to start new lives in the South. More and more black people are moving to the more stable, wealthier and more middle class southern cities. Clark is part of what is being called the "reverse migration" of African Americans from the North to the South, a trend that was starkly reflected in the 2010 U.S. Census data. According to the Census Bureau's American Community Survey, between 2000 and 2009, most of the big metro areas with the largest growth in the African-American population were in the South. "Economic progress, cultural ties and an emerging black middle class have driven greater numbers of blacks to prosperous Southern metropolitan areas like Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and Raleigh. http://www.theroot.com/views/going-home-south |

Then why are you hanging around this board? I mean, seriously. First, you claim that you own all this damn property. Why the hell have you been slumming it on this board for 2, 3 years? Second, you complain Blacks want to be were other Blacks are at. You're supposed a 70 year old Black man on a Black board. Doesn't that go against what you say Blacks should do in the first place? Shut up. |

And more and more BLACK TRASH is relocating here! Had they had marketable SKILLS, they wouldn't have had to move south to begin with! Most of the Northern Negroes that move here to Atlanta, are afraid to drive out of Atlanta 80 miles! It tickles the hell out of me. They talk shit within the confines of Atlanta, but are scared as hell to take a drive out of Atlanta! Typical, so damned typical!

I almost fell for that yokey doke. The moral fiber of the southern states is more disgusting than the northern states. And it's a known fact that shrinking cities are cropping up amongst the southern and western states. People are getting the hell out of there, and coming up north. So I'm not buying the more stable gag. I'm staying my behind right here in the Bronx! I'm in Utopia.

If there's a mass migration to the South, then why just Atlanta? I don't see Negroes moving to Birmingham, Jackson, or NOLA, why is this? How many do you know has moved to Miami, or Jacksonville? These places have jobs too, if you're qualified. After many of them arrive here, they start whining about what Georgia needs to do! Don't like Ga, Delta is ready when you are, so take your ass back home! |

I think what happens is that people visit Atlanta and fall in love with the place. Because Atlanta has some really spectacular looking homes that are incredibly cheap considering the house. That's how it happened with my good friend. She went to visit her friend in Atlanta for the first time, she fell in love with the place and came back making immediate plans for moving there. And the same thing happened with another friend of mine who visited New Mexico for the first time on vacation. She fell in love with the place and made immediate plans to relocate there. I think a lot New Yorkers are the main ones who fall in love when they visit other places besides Jersey.

Why do you not base your argument on facts. More and more black people are moving to the more stable, wealthier and more middle class southern cities. It is more middle class black people with skills, money, looking for stable homes, schools and to be near older family members. Stop basing your whole argument on outdated stereotypes of black people. http://www.theroot.com/views/going-home-south |
